We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Research Scientist to join our team at NR Consulting. As a key member of our research and development team, you will be responsible for leading the development of new products and technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new product development strategies to meet business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to design, test, and commercialize new products
- Collaborate with industrial partners to identify new business opportunities and develop partnerships
- Conduct research and development to improve existing products and processes
- Prepare and present research findings and product development plans to senior management and stakeholders
- Master's degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, inorganic chemistry, materials science, or equivalent
- Industrial mineral processing experience, including wet milling, dry milling, pyroprocessing, purification, classification, and agglomeration
- Strong understanding of product development and commercialization principles
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, chemistry, inorganic chemistry, materials science, or equivalent
- 15+ years of relevant industrial experience in product development
- Strong working knowledge and experience working with industrial minerals and chemical additives
- Experience with state-of-the-art minerals processing and characterization equipment
