Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Lead Child Care Educator at Opportunity Inc. of Northcentral Wisconsin, INC. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Education
    • Provide high-quality care and education to children, including feeding, toileting, and diapering.
    • Develop and implement engaging activity plans that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each child.
    • Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring the nutritional and emotional well-being of each child.
  • Health and Safety
    • Monitor the health and safety of each child, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
    • Administer first aid and CPR as needed.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Maintain open and effective communication with families, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to provide a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • Education and Training
    • Associate's degree or equivalent in early childhood education or a related field.
    • Completion of required early childhood trainings for assistant teachers, as per State Licensing.
  • Experience and Skills
    • Three to four years of experience working in day care or a related field.
    • CPR/First Aid certification.
    • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
    • Proof of personal vehicle insurance.
    • Ability to pass a criminal and caregiver background check.
    • Pass pre-employment screening, including drug test, physical evaluation, and TB Test.
  • Physical Demands
    • Frequent lifting, supporting, and moving up to 75 pounds, and occasional lifting up to 100 pounds.
    • Frequent bending, squatting, twisting, reaching, standing, and walking.
