Key Responsibilities

  • Operate radiologic or fluoroscopy (c-arm) equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images, ensuring optimal patient positioning and technique.
  • Assist patients with dignity and respect, providing clear instructions and explanations throughout the imaging process.
  • Verify patient identification and ensure accurate documentation of imaging procedures.
  • Monitor patient reactions to treatment and report any changes to the appropriate personnel.
  • Perform quality control checks on equipment and report any deficiencies to the proper personnel.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, maintaining a high level of professional knowledge and expertise.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Connecticut State License and ARRT Certification
  • Excellent patient and people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy, cross-sectional anatomy, and imaging techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of professional knowledge and expertise, with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.
