Key Responsibilities- Work collaboratively with colleagues to foster a positive and inclusive educational atmosphere that promotes student achievement.
- Design and implement engaging learning experiences aligned with program objectives.
- Create and conduct clinical and laboratory activities to enrich student education.
- Assist students in effectively utilizing available educational resources.
- Engage in course team meetings to contribute to the academic curriculum.
- Supervise students during clinical practice, assess their performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensure students demonstrate proficiency in nursing skills prior to patient care application.
- Evaluate student assignments and maintain precise records of their academic progress.
- Commence classes punctually and inform relevant authorities in case of absences.
- Address student concerns by communicating with the Director of Nursing.
- Faculty schedules may vary each semester and could include evening or weekend hours based on clinical agency availability.
- Continuously improve professional skills through development activities.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with students, faculty, administration, staff, and clinical personnel.
- Perform any other assigned duties as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or higher.
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a licensed nurse.
- Ability to lift at least twenty-five pounds.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Availability to work during evenings and weekends.
- Experience teaching nursing at the postsecondary level.
