Mosquito Joe of East Memphis is a fast-growing, locally owned business that provides outdoor pest control services to residential and commercial customers. We eliminate and repel outdoor pests such as mosquitoes, ticks, and fleas, making the outdoors a fun place for everyone.

Job Description

Our Field Technicians provide outdoor pest control services to customer yards, ensuring excellent customer service and a thorough understanding of our procedures. The ideal candidate will be organized, motivated, and able to work independently.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

• Visually inspect and treat for mosquitoes, fleas, ticks, and other outdoor pests
• Explain to customers the expectations for services and procedures
• Maintain good customer relationships
• Maintain chemical and operational records in accordance with state requirements
• Maintain clean and well-organized service vehicles
• Handle pesticides safely in accordance with state and federal regulations
• Complete pesticide certification requirements and continuing education
• Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weighing over 60lbs. for long periods of time in warm temperatures
• Comfortable driving to customer locations
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours
• Willing to market the Mosquito Joe service

Education and Experience

• Honest, reliable, and dependable
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Able to walk customer property while carrying equipment weighing over 60lbs. for long periods of time in hot temperatures
• Self-confident and professional
• Excellent customer service skills
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours

Pay and Benefits

• $20-$25 per hour for licensed technicians through production pay
• Uncertified technicians start at $17/hour
• Health insurance (50% paid by company)

Hours and Compensation

We typically work between 30 to 60 hours per week. The weather can significantly affect our work schedule. We never work on Sundays, but we do have to work Saturdays occasionally. Compensation: $30.00 per hour
