About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Cardiac ICU team at Ascension St. Vincent in Indiana. As a key member of our team, you will provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients with congenital or acquired cardiac disease.

Responsibilities
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
  • Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Must be an experienced PICU Nurse.
  • Prefer Cardiac Experience.
