Join our team at Johnson Controls International as a Security Systems Technician, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct installation, programming, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Fire Alarm Systems, Access Control, and CCTV Systems.
- Perform panel reprogramming, device installation/replacement, and resolve low voltage circuit issues.
- Utilize technical resources effectively to ensure the efficient execution of all assigned tasks.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operational manuals.
- Supervise and inspect installations to ensure compliance with customer and contract specifications.
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of one year of documented experience in low voltage electrical systems, including Fire/Life Safety Systems, Access Control, CCTV, and Security Systems.
- Experience with hand tools, test equipment, and commissioning devices.
- The ability to perform physical labor, including lifting equipment and tools weighing up to 50-70 lbs.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends, to meet customer needs.
- The capability to obtain and maintain necessary licenses as required by National, State, and Local codes.
- A basic understanding of network concepts and architectures.
