Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Labor Solutions Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing complex equipment and distribution systems with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install and rearrange production equipment
- Identify production equipment failures before they happen and perform necessary work to avoid downtime
- Dismantle, repair, and reassemble production equipment
- Perform work in mechanical skills areas such as fabrication, assembly, welding, burning, cutting, and pipe fitting
- Perform minor electrical work such as removing and replacing motors, fuses, and cables; installing conduit; and pulling wire
- Complete routine preventative maintenance tasks
- Complete work orders
- Perform pre-op inspections of lines between changeovers to reduce downtime
- Sanitary welding
- Read and interpret blueprint, mechanical, and electrical schematics and ladder logic
- Handle multiple tasks with capability of prioritizing and planning work activities
- Complete work orders and paperwork regarding daily activities
Requirements:
- Familiarity with GMPs
- Ability to work any shift as we are a 24/7 operation
- Strong troubleshooting skills in areas of mechanical, electrical, pumps, and manufacturing equipment
- Flexibility to accomplish necessary tasks with safety being the first priority
- Able to perform in a fast-paced team-oriented environment
- Mechanical aptitude and ability
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- 4-7 years Maintenance Tech/Mechanical experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Criminal Background Check
- Drug Screening
