About the Role:
We are in search of dedicated and empathetic individuals to fill the role of Direct Support Professionals (DSPs). As a DSP, your primary responsibility will be to engage with individuals in their residences and the broader community, providing essential support aimed at improving their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver personalized, one-on-one assistance that caters to the specific needs and preferences of each individual.
  • Encourage a welcoming and inclusive environment that fosters social interaction and community participation.
  • Assist individuals in cultivating and enhancing daily living skills to promote autonomy.
  • Identify and facilitate opportunities for skill development through various activities.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with individuals, their families, and fellow team members.
  • Collaborate with case managers, healthcare providers, and other relevant parties to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
  • Accurately document daily activities, achievements, and any incidents as required.

Support Areas Include:
  • Personal hygiene assistance
  • Daily living skills enhancement
  • Goal setting and achievement
  • Appointment management
  • Community engagement and activities
  • Medication management
  • Meal preparation
  • General household support

Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 16 years
  • Valid driver's license preferred (not required for overnight shifts)
  • Successful completion of background checks
  • Availability to work every other weekend and holiday
  • If lacking a driver's license, must be willing to walk from the bus stop to the residence, potentially up to half a mile

Work Schedule:
  • Full-time and part-time positions available
  • Flexible scheduling options
  • Overnight shifts (10/11 PM - 7 AM)
