Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to address a wide range of needs and conditions.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to integrate therapy goals into daily activities and classroom settings.
  • Offer support and guidance to teachers and caregivers to ensure the consistent application of therapy strategies.
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions and techniques to enhance functional skills, sensory processing, motor coordination, and overall independence.
  • Monitor and track progress through ongoing evaluations, reports, and periodic meetings with stakeholders.
  • Participate in IEP meetings to contribute valuable insights and advocate for students' needs.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements and best practices in occupational therapy through continuous professional development.
Requirements
  • Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of California.
  • Previous experience working with individuals ranging from preschoolers to adults is desirable.
  • Knowledge of various disabilities, developmental delays, and mental health conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and maintain open channels of communication.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage caseloads efficiently and maintain accurate records.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping individuals achieve their full potential.
