We are seeking qualified candidates for an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Computer Science and Technology at Kean University. The successful candidate will teach undergraduate and graduate level courses in-person at the Union campus.
Responsibilities:
- Teach courses in computer science, including information technology foundations, computer systems, analysis of algorithms, mobile application development, web programming, Java, Python, and other related topics.
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and assessments to promote student learning and success.
- Provide regular feedback and guidance to students to support their academic progress.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and program initiatives.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in a related field or ABD, Ed.D., Ph.D., or other acceptable disciplinary doctorate.
- Teaching experience and proficiency in a Learning Management System are preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff in a diverse academic environment.
