Job Summary

The IT Security Manager plays a critical role in safeguarding EDI Specialists, Inc.'s business systems and information from cyber threats. As the process owner for security and infrastructure activities, this individual is responsible for implementing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement security policies and procedures to protect against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, modification, or destruction of sensitive data.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the security of business systems and applications.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to employees on security best practices and policies.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents, including data breaches and cyber attacks.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the IT Security Manager must have a strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant work experience in security and risk management.
