Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Team Leader to join our team at pOpshelf. As a Store Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of employees to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales growth in our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide superior customer service to exceed customer expectations and build customer loyalty.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales goals and deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Merchandising and Sales: Oversee the merchandising and sales of products in the store, including creating visually appealing displays and promoting products to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Store Operations: Ensure the store is clean, safe, and well-organized, and that all store policies and procedures are followed.
  • Financial Management: Manage store finances, including cash handling, deposits, and inventory control.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary business school training preferred.
  • Experience: At least two years of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Working Conditions:

The Store Team Leader will work in a fast-paced retail environment, with frequent walking and standing, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds. The position requires the ability to drive a vehicle to make bank deposits and attend management meetings.
