Correctional Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Correctional Officer to join our team at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of inmates and staff within our facilities.

• Enforce rules and regulations within the facility
• Monitor and supervise inmate activities
• Respond to emergencies and incidents
• Provide support and guidance to inmates
• Collaborate with other staff members to maintain a safe and secure environment

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of full-time experience in a criminal justice or related field
• Investigative experience preferred
