About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Associate to support the FP&A function at Chime. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and shaping our business and financial strategy, executing high-impact cross-functional initiatives, and facilitating planning and budgeting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver insightful reporting for G&A leadership to ensure departments are operating efficiently and within budget.
  • Optimize and improve financial forecasting accuracy through advanced modeling and business partnership.
  • Collaborate with leadership on headcount planning, reporting, and ad hoc analysis across G&A departments.
  • Implement new systems and processes to help the finance function scale as the organization grows.
  • Provide data-driven insights to facilitate decision making and influence strategy with financial model building, reporting, process flow, and dashboard development.
  • Facilitate deal negotiations with vendors and partners, including financial analysis.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of finance/FP&A, investment banking, or consulting experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or relevant field.
  • The ability to contribute as a team player that embraces change and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of an organization.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Bonus Experience: Pigment, Netsuite, Looker, Coupa, Snowflake.
