Job Summary:

T & J Construction Inc. is a leading commercial contractor seeking a skilled and dedicated carpenter to join our team. As an experienced carpenter, you will be responsible for performing carpentry work for commercial construction projects, including framing, sheathing, trim work, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality carpentry work for commercial construction projects, adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
  • Measure, cut, and install wood and other materials with precision, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure project goals are met and exceeded.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in commercial carpentry, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional results.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sanders.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations, with the ability to interpret and apply them effectively.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with the ability to travel to job sites as needed.
