Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive IT services, establishing best practices, and maintaining our on-premises high-performance computing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain our on-premises IT architecture, including infrastructure servers, high-performance computer servers, NAS, domain policies, firewall, and backup plans.
  • Manage and expand our cloud environment, including AWS, Secure S3 storage, and Google Cloud.
  • Create a VM environment to provide additional HPC capacity for Nabsys internal users.
  • Work with our Google partner to migrate a Nabsys on-premises application to a GCP cloud application.
  • Manage interactions with our IT consultants, perform IT diligence audits, and act as the primary contact.
  • Implement required changes to achieve compliance and support Nabsys internal users.
  • Address support issues, formalize and execute IT onboarding and off-boarding procedures, and manage employee computer hardware and software.
Requirements
  • On-site role in Providence, RI.
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience designing and maintaining a high-performance compute environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to work well under deadline pressures and with multiple priorities.
