Through robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities, and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.About the RoleUnder the direction of the Paint Manager, the Paint Supervisor will support the Paint Techs and Paint Maintenance Techs by providing guidance and tools needed for safe and productive work. The Paint Supervisor is responsible for training, safety, well-being, and overall development of the Paint team members. The role ensures productivity and quality of both paint lines.Your ResponsibilitiesReview daily paint system analysis logs to ensure operation within defined parameters. Conduct pre- and post-shift meetings with employees to ensure safety talks are being conducted. Post current department KPIs-key performance indicators-and ensure they are visible to all. Provide timely coaching, counseling, and feedback to employees through one-on-one sessions, performance evaluations, and regular team meetings. Routinely inspect emergency evacuation routes and correct any safety concerns immediately. Schedule, supervise, coordinate, and direct employee activities to ensure production levels and quality standards are met. Monitor throughout the day and make adjustments to support operations.Who we are looking forHigh School Diploma or GED required Minimum 5 years' experience in an automotive manufacturing environment, corrosion coatings, or E-Coat. Working knowledge of basic chemistry and lab procedures. Capable of learning wastewater treatment Previous leadership role preferred Must possess working knowledge and understanding of quality systems, standards, and procedures Computer skills-Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Your preferred qualificationsMust be a 'Self-Starter' with the ability to formulate a project and see it through to its conclusion. Must have strong team-focused, interpersonal, and leadership abilities. Must have good organizational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills required. Good human relations, leadership skills, and maturity of judgment are essential.Develop and facilitate on-the-job employee training -encourages training and development.
