Responsibilities of a Culinary Assistant:
- Provide outstanding service to residents by leading and inspiring team members to deliver prompt, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
- Prepare and cook meals in accordance with recipes and quality standards, including specials and grill service.
- Ensure the kitchen meets safety and sanitation standards as mandated by regulations.
- Review meal plans and accommodate special dietary requests.
- Monitor inventory and report on popular menu items.
- Understand and follow dietary restrictions and modifications.
- Participate in training and meetings to uphold food service regulatory standards.
Qualifications for a Culinary Assistant:
- 1+ year of cooking or food preparation experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong communication and hospitality skills for effective interaction with residents and staff.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Successful candidates will undergo a background check.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare or the restaurant industry.
