Responsibilities of a Culinary Assistant:

  • Provide outstanding service to residents by leading and inspiring team members to deliver prompt, friendly, and exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and cook meals in accordance with recipes and quality standards, including specials and grill service.
  • Ensure the kitchen meets safety and sanitation standards as mandated by regulations.
  • Review meal plans and accommodate special dietary requests.
  • Monitor inventory and report on popular menu items.
  • Understand and follow dietary restrictions and modifications.
  • Participate in training and meetings to uphold food service regulatory standards.

Qualifications for a Culinary Assistant:

  • 1+ year of cooking or food preparation experience preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Strong communication and hospitality skills for effective interaction with residents and staff.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a background check.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in healthcare or the restaurant industry.
