Job Title: ESS Teacher

The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is seeking a qualified ESS Teacher to join our team. As an ESS Teacher, you will be responsible for providing support to the instructional process by serving as a teacher with specific responsibility for supervising students within the classroom and other assigned areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all stakeholders to establish and maintain leadership and positive relationships while focusing on high expectations and continuous improvement for student learning.
  • Design instruction to ensure all students are engaged and participating in individual and classroom learning objectives.
  • Evaluate individual student and class performance to gauge and subsequently adjust instruction to improve individual and class performance.
  • Implement current best practice instruction and resources to improve and enhance student learning in alignment with state and district standards.
  • Maintain documentation and required reports to comply with site, district, policy, administrative, state and/or federal statutes and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Current Louisiana teacher certification.
