This role involves delivering exceptional patient care within the unit, showcasing a high level of clinical expertise. The L&D RN will work collaboratively under the guidance of the unit director, clinical manager, and charge nurse, contributing positively to the team environment.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery is essential.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California is required.
- Must possess and maintain current BLS certification or complete it during the orientation process before engaging in hands-on patient care.
- ACLS certification is necessary and should be obtained within six months of department assignment.
- NRP and EFM certifications are required or must be acquired within six months of joining the department.
