Job Summary

Claxton Logistics Services, LLC is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Laborer to support our contract at Ft. Barfoot, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial tasks, grounds maintenance, and building repair.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in building repairs, including drywall repair and painting
  • Replace light bulbs and HVAC filters
  • Perform routine janitorial tasks: sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming
  • Strip, wax, and polish floors
  • Clean windows, carpets, restrooms, and surfaces
  • Handle outdoor tasks: mowing, trimming, and clearing debris
  • Follow safety procedures for tools and powered equipment
  • Additional duties as assigned by the Project Manager

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: 2+ years in custodial work preferred
  • Requirements:
    • U.S. citizenship
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
    • Ability to pass federal background check and drug screening

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Pay: $17.20/hour + Health and Welfare benefit of $4.57/hour
  • Schedule: Part-time, 24 hours/week
