Rehabilitation Therapist Job Overview

The Rehabilitation Therapist plays a crucial role in evaluating the functional requirements of patients with physical disabilities. This professional is tasked with formulating treatment objectives and executing suitable therapeutic strategies utilizing a variety of rehabilitation techniques. Care is provided to individuals across all age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate the initial self-care capabilities of each patient referred
  • Determine functional requirements and set treatment outcome objectives
  • Design and carry out treatment plans to meet established goals
Working Schedule:
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., although schedules may vary.

Shift Differentials:
  • Evening Shift (3pm - 11:30pm) = 8%
  • Night Shift (11:00pm - 7:30am) = 11%
  • No Weekend Differential
Qualifications:
  • Completion of an accredited rehabilitation therapy program with at least a bachelor's degree
  • Valid licensure to practice Rehabilitation Therapy in Idaho
  • Current Basic Life Support certification
