Job Summary:

Volt is hiring a CNC Machinist for a 2nd shift position in Fairview, Oregon. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for operating CNC Mills and/or Lathes machinery, executing and editing G & M code, and performing quality checks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CNC Mills and/or Lathes machinery
  • Execute and edit G & M code, with an opportunity to prove new programs.
  • Perform quality checks using fixed gauges and calipers to ensure parts meet specifications.
  • Suggest improvements for tooling, setups, and programs to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, performing routine equipment maintenance.

Requirements:
  • Experience: Proficiency with CNC Lathes and/or CNC Mills
  • Skills: Strong understanding of CNC G & M code, blueprint reading, and machine shop mathematics. Competency in operating forklifts and overhead cranes.
  • Education: We welcome candidates who are new graduates and eager to gain hands-on experience .
