Position Overview:

  • Manage the telephone switchboard and assist with bell services
  • Greet guests warmly and ensure a high standard of service
  • Oversee check-in and check-out processes, address guest inquiries, and manage reservations
  • Support group arrivals and departures with efficiency
  • Complete daily shift reports and audits
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Perform additional tasks as required

Qualifications:

  • Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in guest services
  • Experience in a fast-paced hotel front desk environment is preferred
  • Relevant diploma in Hospitality or related fields
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Professional demeanor and appearance
  • Certification relevant to the industry is advantageous
  • Eligibility to work in Canada is required
  • Additional language skills are a plus
