Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Therapy Aide to join our team at OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital. As a Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our rehabilitation team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist therapy staff with patient identification and transportation needs in the rehab treatment areas.
  • Coordinate care between rehab and nursing floors to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform patient-related tasks assigned by therapists, including lifting patients to/from mats, treatment tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment.
  • Assist patients with transfer activities to all surfaces and help them don/doff appliances specific to the facility/department.
  • Position patients in parallel bars and prepare them for standing with orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.
  • Transport patients to/from therapy as needed and assist therapists with other patient-related treatment activities.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • One or more years of hospital experience as a therapy aide preferred.
