Job Summary

MMS Group is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our 196-unit multi-family residential property in Bridgeton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in affordable housing, including HUD and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management: Collect rent, maintain computer records, and monitor expenses to ensure spending is within guidelines.
  • Tenant Relations: Address resident concerns in a professional manner, maintain tenant files, and ensure compliance with government regulations.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Hire, train, and supervise site staff, oversee maintenance of the property, and conduct regular property inspections.
  • Administrative Tasks: Complete income verification, handle financial operations, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Education: High school education or equivalent.
  • Experience: Three+ years of multi-family residential management experience, minimum two years of affordable housing experience.
  • Skills: Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience with RealPage OneSite or similar property management software.
  • Certifications: LIHTC Certification, preferred.
