Position Overview
As a vital member of our healthcare team, the Licensed Registered Nurse will provide exceptional nursing care to residents in a long-term care environment. This role is essential in ensuring the well-being and safety of our patients while adhering to the established protocols and standards of our organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing services to patients in accordance with the healthcare facility's policies and procedures.
- Develop, implement, and assess patient care plans.
- Monitor and document patient conditions, communicating changes as necessary.
- Act as the primary coordinator for interdisciplinary patient care.
- Execute physician and nursing directives accurately.
- Identify safety risks and emergencies, taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and plan for patient discharge needs.
Qualifications
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Current BLS Provider certification required within the first month of employment.
- Valid Registered Nurse license from the appropriate state board is mandatory.
Education:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.
