We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As a member of our Anesthesiology group, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients, collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals, and contributing to the advancement of our department's quality assurance program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Anesthetic management for patients requiring surgical procedures in the Operating Room and/or Peds area
  • Supervision of CRNA staff, resident, medical student, and student nurse anesthetists in the clinical area
  • Ongoing participation in the departmental Quality Assurance program
  • Membership in appropriate committees, as requested by the Chief of Service and/or Chairperson
  • Clinical resource for all levels of trainees
  • Participation in the didactic portion of resident, student nurse anesthetist, and medical students' educational programs
  • Time not spent in direct patient care will be devoted to appropriate administrative, educational, and/or research activities
  • Participate in ongoing continuing education programs to maintain and upgrade skills
  • Demonstrate an awareness of the Organization's safety plan and demonstrate proficiency in each skill
Requirements
  • M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine
  • Completed residency training in an accredited program within Anesthesiology
  • License to practice medicine in the State of New York
  • Must be board-eligible or board-certified in Anesthesiology
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including an annual base salary of $390,000* (board eligible) and $400,000* (board certified), as well as additional compensation for extra call or sessional/per diem hours. Our benefits package includes 401(k) company contributions, annual continuing medical education (CME) reimbursement, generous annual paid time off (PTO), medical, prescription, and dental coverage, life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) coverage, and loan forgiveness opportunities.
