Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions to students with diverse needs, focusing on areas such as fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement student treatment plans.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate student strengths and challenges, and track progress over time.
- Create a supportive and engaging therapeutic environment that promotes student growth and independence.
Qualifications
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of child development and occupational therapy principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
