As a faith-based private organization, The Center: A Place of HOPE offers specialized whole-person care through Partial Hospitalization (PHP) Day Treatment Programs addressing:

  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Depression
  • Anxiety
  • Eating Disorders
  • Substance Use and Co-Occurring Disorders

Our programs are customized through a dedicated team approach, serving clients from across the nation and internationally.

We are seeking a FULL-TIME REGISTERED DIETITIAN NUTRITIONIST (RDN) residing in the greater Puget Sound area, who possesses a minimum of one year of nutrition counseling experience, thrives in a collaborative environment, and embraces a whole-person care philosophy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Registered Dietitian will provide nutritional counseling, education, and support to clients on their journey towards healing. Responsibilities encompass individual consultations, conducting nutrition classes, leading cooking demonstrations, assisting clients with grocery shopping, and advocating for healthy eating and lifestyle practices for those dealing with eating disorders, mental health challenges, and substance use issues, all in alignment with our nutritional philosophy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Licensed as a Registered Dietitian/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with an Unrestricted RD/RDN License.
  • Valid Dietitian Certification from the Washington State Department of Health, also Unrestricted.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is mandatory.
  • At least one year of experience in nutrition counseling.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience in nutrition counseling, mental health, eating disorders, and substance use disorders.
  • A genuine passion for whole-person care and recovery.
  • Experience working with clients with diverse mental health and substance use diagnoses.

SCHEDULE:

This position is a full-time, W-2 role with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Specific days and hours can be discussed further.

COMPENSATION:

We offer competitive compensation that exceeds market rates, based on experience and licensure, ranging from $30 to $40 per hour, with flexibility for negotiation.
