Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with educational staff and families regarding students' speech and language challenges.
- Conduct initial assessments and thorough evaluations in speech and language to identify students' needs for services or criteria for discharge.
- Participate in the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, contributing to the development of performance levels, goals, objectives, and treatment recommendations for students qualifying for speech therapy.
- Deliver speech therapy sessions utilizing current best practices as outlined in the IEP.
- Maintain all necessary documentation as required by the district and adhere to ASHA's ethical standards, including daily notes, monthly summaries, and annual IEPs.
- Master's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
- Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- Current licensure to practice in the state or eligibility for licensure through completion of the Clinical Fellowship Year.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
