Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Physical Engineer to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our Power Delivery Services Team, you will play a critical role in delivering innovative solutions to our clients in the electric utility industry.

About the Role:

  • Design and develop substation electrical projects, including digital logic design, AC and DC circuits, and grounding studies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and clients to meet project needs and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Perform quality control checks on substation physical design projects and create and check bill of materials.
  • Attend site visits at customer locations and ensure compliance with project scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in substation physical design, or 4+ years of experience with a related degree.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines under pressure.
