Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop tailored queries by analyzing databases using tools such as Toad or MySQL Workbench to extract data that meets client specifications while adhering to established operational guidelines.


2. Facilitate the generation of ACH files, ensuring accurate routing information and daily transmission of totals to financial institutions.


3. Address critical payroll disruptions by creating data updates utilizing MySQL and PHP.

4. Assist operational teams in the daily printing of client payroll checks, swiftly resolving any issues to ensure timely delivery to clients.

5. Design and implement custom internal software solutions using PHP Storm and MS Visual Studio to enhance the productivity of the Application Support team and provide valuable insights to various business units.

6. Generate and execute custom reports through proprietary tools to support organizational needs.

7. Resolve complex technical challenges and data issues by managing tickets within the incident management system, collaborating with users to analyze data, and developing tailored solutions while coordinating with Quality Assurance for testing.

8. Analyze system data to create profiles requested by internal departments, maintain high-quality standards for client data, and produce necessary reports and analytics.

9. Oversee and manage continuous processes using automation software, analyzing logs to identify and troubleshoot potential issues in collaboration with developers.

10. Provide ongoing support for all software applications post-deployment to clients and internal teams.

11. Document solutions to technical challenges clearly, enhancing team knowledge and reducing future resolution times.

12. Engage in business process mapping and system architecture blueprinting to enhance the Application Support team's expertise, requiring familiarity with Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) and Visio.


13. Collaborate with Development and Quality Assurance teams to test new and enhanced software modules, offering constructive feedback on functionality and data output.


Qualifications:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, PHP, HTML, .NET, and Java.

- Experience with database and query design tools, including MySQL, Oracle, or Toad.

- Previous experience as a Systems Analyst or Application Support Specialist is preferred.

- Familiarity with payroll business software applications is advantageous.

- Strong analytical skills and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
