About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical assisting, with experience in both clinical and clerical operations. They will be responsible for performing various administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, handling phone calls, and maintaining patient records. Additionally, they will provide direct patient care, including vital signs, injections, and other medical procedures.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- A completed medical assistant program that meets certification eligibility requirements
- Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA)
- Experience in a physician office setting, preferably with a medical assistance background
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
