Bassett Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Physician Recruitment Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Medical Staff Recruitment department, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, and recruiting top talent to join our medical staff.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies: Design and execute innovative recruitment plans to attract and retain top physicians and advanced practice clinicians.
- Sourcing and Candidate Management: Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to identify and engage potential candidates.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with our recruitment team, medical staff leadership, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination throughout the recruitment process.
- Candidate Evaluation and Selection: Conduct thorough evaluations of candidate qualifications, experience, and fit for our medical staff, and make recommendations for selection.
- Onboarding and Integration: Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into our medical staff.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business, human resources, or healthcare administration.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in physician recruitment, healthcare sourcing, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in computer software and systems.
