Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled Executive Chef to join our team at The Overlook Senior Living. As a key member of our culinary staff, you will be responsible for creating delicious meals that exceed the expectations of our residents.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and attention to detail. You will oversee the kitchen operations, manage inventory, and supervise a team of cooks. Your expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation will ensure that every meal served is of the highest quality.

• Develop and implement seasonal menus that cater to diverse tastes and dietary needs
• Lead and motivate a team of cooks to achieve exceptional results
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to strict health and safety standards
• Manage inventory levels, minimize waste, and optimize food costs
• Collaborate with the management team to plan special events and catering services

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a senior living community or similar setting
• Certification in food safety (e.g., ServeSafe) and ability to maintain certification
• Proven track record of innovation, creativity, and attention to detail in menu planning and food preparation
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Able to work effectively under pressure, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently

• An estimated annual salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 based on experience
