About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Sports Coach to join our team as an After-School Program Facilitator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality sports programs to elementary and middle school students, promoting physical activity, social-emotional learning, and academic achievement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging sports programs for students in grades K-6, focusing on STEAM, music, and other enrichment activities.
  • Lead lessons that promote excitement about learning and support students in developing essential life skills.
  • Assist with homework completion and snack distribution, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Effectively manage student behavior, maintaining a positive and respectful atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and implement lesson plans, ensuring accuracy and organization.
  • Provide support to students with behavioral management needs, fostering positive learning experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with school administrators, parents, and fellow coaches to ensure seamless program delivery.
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in education, coaching, child development, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social-emotional learning and its application in a sports program setting.
  • Ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents to achieve program goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a Live-Scan background check and TB screening.
