Role of the Construction Project Supervisor:

The Construction Project Supervisor will report directly to the Branch Manager. This role encompasses overseeing all pre-construction tasks to ensure effective project execution. Responsibilities include reviewing files with the Estimator, preparing budgets promptly, ordering necessary materials, scheduling trades, coordinating subcontractors, and submitting production approval forms to the Chief Operating Officer. Once production is approved, the Supervisor will hand over the project files to the Superintendent. This position holds primary accountability for the profit and loss of assigned projects and involves managing the Estimator, Superintendent, and Team Coordinator. Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurance agents, adjusters, homeowners, and vendors is crucial. Ensuring that all project personnel adhere to safety regulations as per OSHA standards and company policies is also a key responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated experience in project management, ideally within the residential restoration sector.
  • Proficient in PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate software.
  • Possess or be willing to obtain Construction Training certification.
  • Achieve Xactimate Level 1 certification.
  • Ability to interpret Matterport data.
  • Understanding of insurance claim processes, standards, and guidelines.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, teamwork, and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Knowledgeable in material ordering, job budgeting, and achieving profit targets.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based technologies including Xactimate, Microsoft Office, and PSA software.
  • Exhibit strong leadership qualities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and understanding of construction operations.
  • Foster positive relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Willingness to work 40+ hours per week and be on call during emergencies.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in construction is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Experience with PSA, XactAnalysis, and Xactimate is advantageous.
  • Possess Level 1 certification in Xactimate or be willing to obtain it.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces, climb roofs, and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Valid Driver's License and eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
  • No felony convictions.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range of $50,000 - $60,000, based on experience.
  • Eligibility for a commission plan after 90 days, with potential earnings of 50% to 100% of base salary.
