Job Title: QC Technician

We are seeking an experienced QC Technician to join our team. This is a 1st shift temp to hire position offering $20-$25/hour with great benefits. The schedule is Monday-Friday from 7:00am-3:30pm, with overtime as required.

Job Summary:

The QC Technician will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance that processes, analysis, and documentation are being done correctly and according to various quality control standards of the company and customers. Excellent communication and leadership skills are necessary, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct internal audits and product or process inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and requirements.
  • Interact with manufacturing plant personnel, customer quality personnel, and customer service representatives.
  • Provide direction for manufacturing personnel on product, material, or process-related questions.
  • Responsible for quality control of manufacturing parts throughout the production cycle.
  • Measure dimensions and tolerances using digital calipers, micrometers, and other special measurement instruments.
  • Inspect manufacturing parts against requirements of blueprints.
  • Record and analyze testing results to determine certification or rejection of products.
  • Assist in investigation and documentation of vendor rejects.
  • Assist in updating ISO documentation and work instructions in English, Burmese, and/or Spanish.
  • Assist on the manufacturing floor process and product inspection when needed.
  • Assist in performing FMEA, GRR, and SPC process capability studies.
  • Assist with First Article Inspections, COCs, and COAs preparation.
Requirements:
  • Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree or Technical Certificate in a related field, along with an ASQ Certificate.
  • The ideal candidate should excel in teamwork, be adept at blueprint reading, understand GD&T, and be familiar with various measuring instruments and standard operating procedures.
  • Familiarity with the SAP MRP system is advantageous, and proficiency in using calipers and micrometers in both Metric and Inch units is required.
  • Additionally, the candidate should be skilled in Microsoft Excel and possess overall computer proficiency.
  • The ability to accomplish objectives with minimal direct supervision is essential, and a willingness to learn and follow instructions is a key attribute for success in this role.
