Certification and Job Details
  • BLS certification is required for this role.
  • This position is located in a specialty care hospital with various units, including the Heart & Vascular Institute, Cancer Center, and Brain & Spine.
  • The hospital is situated in the central region of Michigan's upper peninsula and is the largest community in the area.
  • It is also home to Northern Michigan University.

Job Requirements
  • The successful candidate will work as an IR tech and have experience with panning and scubbing in for IR procedures, as well as circulating for IR procedures including Angiography.
  • They will also be responsible for working with various equipment, including US and CT scanners.
  • Preferred skills include experience with US and CT biopsy, Vertebroplasty, LP, EVAR, Fistulograms, Shuntograms w/declot, and Central line placement.
  • The ideal candidate will have a flexible and team-oriented personality and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule and Unit Information
  • The shift for this position is 7-5, with on-call weekend hours.
  • The unit is located on the Interventional Radiology floor and has a trauma level of 2.
  • The facility department/cost center is 7370.

Additional Details
  • The patient population for this role includes geriatric, adult, and pediatric patients.
  • The dress code for this position is hospital-provided.
