Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse plays a vital role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians. Key responsibilities include assessing patients' health status, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver comprehensive care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To excel in this role, candidates must have:
- a specialization in Long Term Care
- completion of a state-approved practical nursing program
- current LPN licensure in the state of practice
- prior experience and strong knowledge of nursing principles and clinical practices
- demonstrated experience in providing direct patient care and medication administration
