Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Pathology Assistant to join our team in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately accession and process surgical specimens in the Epic Beaker Laboratory Information System.
  • Perform gross examination and submit tissue samples for histologic processing.
  • Assist in intraoperative consultation and research tissue procurement.
  • Operate laboratory equipment, including cryo-rotary microtomes and gross dissecting microscopes.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with established protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • State of New York License for Pathologist Assistant required.
  • Knowledge of histology and immunopathology procedures preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
