Job Overview

Premier Plastic Surgery Partners, LLC is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Melbourne, FL. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in preparing and caring for patients before and after surgery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in skin closure, subcutaneous closure, and facia closure under the supervision of the operating surgeon.
  • Assemble and prepare sterile instrument tables and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Prepare patient skin for surgery in accordance with standards and maintain aseptic techniques.
  • Position patients according to the type of surgery and work in office clinics as needed.
  • Coordinate instruments and implants between office and OR according to the schedule.
  • Assist the surgical team in surgical procedures, including passing instruments, sponges, and suture work.

Requirements:

  • Valid Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) license
  • 3-5+ years of experience working in an Operating Room
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible and compassionate
  • Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills
