We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Seasonal Naturalist to join our team at Schramm Education Center/Schramm Park State Recreation Area. As a key member of our outdoor education team, you will assist in planning, coordinating, and delivering educational programs for park visitors and field trip groups.

• Assist in the development and delivery of educational programs, including outdoor skills, natural history, and guided hikes
• Interact with park visitors and provide interpretive programs in the Education Center and Schramm Park SRA
• Assist with housekeeping and maintenance of Education Center facilities and daily animal care
• Perform customer service activities, such as answering phones and responding to inquiries
• Assist with programs and events at nearby parks as needed

• Experience working in a recreational area, scenic attraction, or historical setting, or related coursework/training
• Knowledge of Nebraska plant and animal species, natural resources, and outdoor recreation activities
• Ability to communicate effectively with people of all levels and interests
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a team environment
