Job Summary

We are seeking a charismatic Merchandiser to join our Sales team. The ideal candidate will promote our products by servicing assigned accounts, maintaining store standards, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Place price and descriptive signs on backdrop, fixtures, merchandise, and floor displays.
  • Check quantities of goods on display and in stock, and service the account to achieve 100% in stock by manually lifting and placing cases or bottles.
  • Prepare, construct, and maintain product displays according to schematics, directions, and standards.
  • Provide customer service as required by customer and consumer demand.
  • Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks to move cases from the store room to the sales floor.
  • Have the necessary POS materials for the day on the truck and return unused POS to the warehouse promptly.
  • Maintain all administrative work in a neat and legible fashion, copying key personnel on market conditions, refused displays, and other customer issues.
  • Present promotional activities and suggestions to customers as instructed by the company.
  • Survey the account for merchandising opportunities and have all current sales support sheets available for opportunities to improve RNDC's representation in the store.
  • Consult with store managers, buyers, and/or sales representatives to determine appropriate placement of displays or products.
  • Submit daily activity reports and merchandising reports, including competitive activity and pricing as it occurs to the immediate supervisor.
  • Write sales orders, on occasion, as needed.
  • Cover open sales territory, as needed and as applicable, due to absence or vacation.
  • Operate a motor vehicle to various assigned accounts within an assigned geographic region.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), preferably one year merchandising experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Current, valid state driver's license, ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements as defined by the Company and Alcohol Beverage Commission (ABC) License, as required by the state.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
