CNC Machinist

Williams International is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for the setup and operation of miscellaneous computerized numerical control (CNC) and/or manual machines.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Set-up and operation of miscellaneous CNC and/or manual machines, primarily lathes, occasionally may include mills, lathes, drills, grinders, hone, lap, deburr, etc.
- Machine and/or tests parts according to engineering and customer standards and in establishing manufacturing methods, including machine, test, material and tooling requirements, to ensure parts are machined according to engineering tolerances/ inspection and/or testing related activities to ensure that parts are machined in accordance with manufacturing standards and blueprint specifications.
- Visually inspects parts to ensure they are free of burrs or damaged surfaces.
- Maintain proper identification of parts per planning specifications and ensures that accurate and reliable records and documentation are maintained.
- Perform routine maintenance of machines and equipment , organize and maintain cellular manufacturing work area in accordance with established standards.
- Ensure the continuous flow of materials and parts through the Cell. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations.
- Strive to accomplish team goals and enhance the quality of machined parts through the reduction of scrap and improvement of throughput.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2-3 years of experience with CNC Lathes
- Grinding, G30, or KAPP experience is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Possess solid fundamentals in GD&T
- Experience with aerospace materials such as SST, Inconels, Hast X, Aluminum, etc.
U.S. Citizenship status required. Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
