**Overview:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual to join our team as a Residential Care Assistant. In this role, you will provide essential support and care to individuals in a residential setting, promoting their overall well-being and independence.
**Responsibilities:
- Ensure the well-being and safety of clients, creating a comfortable and supportive living environment.
- Remain awake and alert during overnight shifts, responding promptly to clients' needs.
- Assist clients with daily activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Monitor clients' progress, documenting any notable changes or concerns.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop personalized care plans, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.
- Participate in training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with industry best practices.
**Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent degree, plus six months' related experience.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and concerns.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Familiarity with basic computer applications, including electronic medical records systems.
**Estimated Salary:** $18.25 - $20.00 per hour, based on location and experience.
