Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Accountant to join our team at Ledgent Finance & Accounting. The successful candidate will possess expertise in Accounts Payable, Billing, and Accounts Receivable, as well as a strong understanding of job cost, work in progress, and revenue recognition principles.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in the construction industry, and be proficient in ProCore. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and analytical skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities will include managing accounts payable, managing monthly client billing, assisting with monthly closing processes, and developing and maintaining a high level of customer service. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining discretion and confidentiality of Company and client information, seeking out cost-saving opportunities, and assisting in the development and implementation of internal controls.

Qualifications and Skills

2-3 years minimum accounting experience - construction industry preferred

Experience with ProCore a plus

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail

Excellent analytical skills

Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills

Ability to work with discretion and confidentiality of sensitive data

Work independently as well as part of a team

Work under pressure in meeting tight deadlines

Self-reliant and resourceful in problem solving

PAY DOE 70K to 80K
