Position Overview

Sky Law Firm, P.A. is seeking a meticulous and organized individual to fill the role of a pre-litigation paralegal specializing in personal injury cases. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in pre-suit processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include managing communications with clients and insurance representatives, coordinating medical appointments, and collecting essential documentation such as police reports, medical records, and invoices. You will also be tasked with drafting and dispatching Letters of Representation and assisting clients with their property damage claims. Additionally, the role involves preparing and sending demand letters.

Furthermore, candidates should have experience in closing case files, which encompasses negotiating liens and preparing closing statements. While some litigation experience is advantageous, it is not a prerequisite. We welcome applicants who are eager to progress in their paralegal careers.

Compensation:

$62,500 plus quarterly performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and organize case filing systems to ensure all documents are easily accessible and properly categorized, along with performing various administrative duties as needed.
  • Engage in negotiations regarding liens, medical expenses, and settlements with healthcare providers or insurance entities.
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in legal services, ideally within a personal injury law environment.
